i was there pal and by no means was it an easy win for cacace. i know your trying to bait david dee because he's ronnies brother but there is no need for it ronnie gave his all in the fight and barry mcguigan, shane and cacace all praised ronnie afterwards. i also heard that barry mcguigan wants to use ronnie in other shows because of the fighting spirit he had and showed against his charge. your nothing but a troll fishing.
No need for this thread. David's a good guy, has a blind sport for his brother, but who doesn't for their family?
Haha whats coming to me. My brother got beat stopped trying to force a late stoppage I'm very proud of the fact he didn't just accept a close points loss. He went out on his shield against a very good opponent. The fight was close even Anto and his whole team say it was close. Considering the size difference Ronnie deserves the credit everyone is giving him. Cacacae Is a huge super feather let's see what he does in his next few fights. He's come on lots since I last saw him. He has a great team around him a lot of people touting him to be a future world champion. End of the day Ronnie fights anyone for that he deserves respect to Trolls so go away
I watched it on YouTube, absolutely no embarrassment in that, Just like it was said above, Ronnie Clark went for it, was finishing the fight well and just got caught. A very brave effort and gave his all, you can't knock that.
I heard 3 rounds behind. Ronnie was winning the last he could of cruised at the end but I'm sure previous experience of close fights made him go for the finish. For what it's worth I had it 5-4 in Cacacae's favour going into the last very hard fight to score both lads are a credit to the sport.. Cacacae is a monster.
Ronnie took a lot of punches and showed charadter, but saying it was close is a mile out, I had Anthony 8-1 ahead going into the last Ronnie winning the third
Thank god you are a coach and not a judge!! haha 2 judges had it by 3 rounds and 1 had it even going into the last round. I still think that your dislike for Ronnie's brothers means that when Ronnie fights you go over the top against him to in some way get him back for what they say in forums. I knew he was down going into the last but to say that he only won 1 out of the 9 completed rounds is ridiculous!! After the fight Anthony Cacace was very respectful to Ronnie and told Ronnie that it was the hardest fight and he was also the toughest person he had ever shared a ring with in fights and sparring. Billy I think you need to show a bit more respect to other fighters the same way you would like more respect for your fighters when others criticise them!! Maybe if you acted nicer towards others then people on here wouldn't be as nasty to you as they are!
I think your the only one seeing it that way mate.. Every single person including Barry, Shane and Cacacae himself say it was close every round is close.. Nice to hear your opinion as usual Billy
No surprise from you Billy, Ronnie strongest round was 8 I had him winning 2 and 8, 1 and 2 share rounds, Cacace took the middle of the fight with 4,5,6 and 7 and 9. Ronnie was winning 10 till the stoppage but was down 3 rounds going into the stoppage. One judge had it a draw and 2 had it by 3. Ronnie struggled with the reach and just Cudnt find his distance. Cacace was massive and after talking to him the weight he puts on is frightening but as he said in boxing you had to take the advantages. I'll tell you one thing though Scotland as a country backing there own fighters is non existent, there is no loyalty in boxing st all, money talks. anyone who knows Ronnie will know what he dealt with. Preparing everyone else for fights and was dropped at a hat. One of boxing nice guys who will help anyone and fight anyone. Won't back down and use excuses. People trying to bad mouth him etc, Ronnie isn't a sponsored fighter, he trains himself, dundee is a **** hole with nothing to be proud of, he's a shining light who lives to be tested. For the guy above who made the comment, message and meet him And have a chat and just get to know him and I guarentee your opinion will change. He sold the fight on cacace, he sold almost 200 tickets, and he stood and traded with someone around 3 or 4 weight category above him on the night. Hurt cacace at times and gave everything. He will come back and as usual he will do what no other fighter wants to do, he'll take a 50:50 fight as in his eyes what he says to me who sells the tickets " I'm done ripping My fans off"
I gave Ronnie credit by saying he done well, ultimately his best wasn't good enough though and there's no shame in that. He just couldn't see to avoid the left hook all night which was very concerning, I'd like to see Ronnie try and win the Scottish and if he did retire afterwards
Billy how far does cacace go? And left hook, it was the big right hands that were landing. Left hand was just constantly extended to keep him away and smash in the backhand. Also surely you didn't have cacace winning 8, I genuonly thought Ronnie did well round 8. And cacace looked drained and found a second wind in 9. I have no idea regarding retirement etc but what I do know though is nobody will wanna fight cacace and Ronnie would do it again soon as his suspension is up, I also know that guys in far worse positions than Ronnie regarding health such as applby who I love as a fighter but Ronnie has had only 1 war really. For me a move down in weight is on the cards. He made weight far to easy for this. A defeat is a learning curve and Billy see if half the fighters you trained had his motivation to go along with the skill you claim they all have. You would have a lot more champions.
To be fair my fighter are motivated all are undefeated and more importantly have more ability than Ronnie Yes you should learn from defeats however Ronnie has lost several at roughly the same level, so I'd say he reached his level, as I say tough guy but there's more to being a champ than being tough they all are
