Ronnie proved on Friday that he is able to compete and with a couple of tweeks will be able to finally get the win he deserves at this level. I will have to speak to Ronnie in regards to moving down in weight because I personally think it might take away his strength but Ronnie knows his own body and we can decide that when it comes to it.

Checked out his record - this guy is indeed known as the Shark?

Billy is describing a decent journeyman to me providing a valid opinion on his level. His record shows he is 30 years old with 13 wins in 18 fights against mainly poor opposition.

Billy talking sense here guys but good luck to the bloke.

What has undefeated got to do with anything!! haha I have to disagree on the ability front mate, David Brophy imo is no more talented than Ronnie and the fights I have seen him shows that he is fit and determined. But I will reserve proper judgement until he steps up in competition.

Billy your fighters have achieved nothing. None of them fought anywhere near the opponents Ronnie has.. Brophy also got beat by Boulden everyone bar you accepts that. I would rather have a fighter like Ronnie who doesn't care about his record is just out there to fight the best.. Stop talking through your **** let's see Brophy in with anyone near British level then we will see.. Talk is cheap and you do a lot of it

David's ability far outweighs Ronnies David
Ronnies done well coming from a kick boxing background but he's found his level I feel

Billy everyone leaves your gym, either they are not committed or your the problem? It's like flavour of the month with you. Not all about ability, recent examples Curtis wood house and Sean Dodd. Not the most ability but what they lack in certain areas they gained in others. Billy name me one fight any of your current crop of fighters have hAd that has been 50/50 or have the pedigree of fighters such as Craig Evans, Ryan Walsh or Anthony cacace? It's not about levels or opinions for Ronnie. As a kid he wanted to be a kickboxing world champion an he achieved his goal and wasn't content and decided to make a new one at around 27 years of age. You think he didn't know it would be hard. But he didn't take easy route. Maxi Hughes in his 4th fight. He's always doubted but everywhere he goes everyone respects him. A journeyman with a dodgy draw with British champion Ryan Walsh? He's a domestic level fighter who is always in a fight

Be a nobody Billy we both know it. Let's see if he fights someone like Tom Baker who a similar position to Cacacae see if David does as well as Ronnie. Deep down we both know the answer at least 15 fighters in the UK at that can beat Brophy at his weight only about 4 or 5 in Ronnies and he would give them all a good fight

Ronnie is a tough guy not domestic level, how can he be when he's lost all his fights at domestic level

We will have to agree to disagree with that one mate, I have seen nothing in David Brophy so far that makes me think wow he's a very talented boxer. I don't doubt his heart, how hard he trains or wants it but imo he isn't the most talented guy out there.

I think people also forget that without hard work talent means nothing!! Ronnie if he gets his head back in the game, works on a few things will come back and will become a better fighter.

davids next opponent has achieved a lot more than Tom Baker, that's a fight David would have without issue, I'd gladly see him in with everyone other than the top 5 lads who's experience would be to much for David at present

He's a domestic fighter because he fights the top domestic guys, and has been robbed and lost on splits, that's his level. None of your fighters are domestic level cause they don't fight decent domestic fighters. As Iv said I thought David was very good in his lasts fight in truth but he still needs to step up. Like Ronnie did in his 4th fight.

After 14 fights and fought nobody lol. Top guy Billy we shall see. Baker would destroy David. I want him to do well he is Scottish but in honesty is not anywhere near domestic level.

Scott Harrison and Ricky Burns stepped up under Billy.

How many other Scottish World Champions in the past 20 years?

    Ronnie World Champion material?

Maybe at Sharks and Ladders but it aint happening in the Boxing Ring.
