Very true but the Frampton fans would have you believe he suddenly became shot overnight.

The same fans who were claiming an easy victory for Kiko prior.

    +1

According to some, Kiko was a monster when Frampton fought him.

He was also going to beat Quigg, but when he got blown away inside 4 minutes, " Frampton had fought and ruined a better Kiko "

I said before the fight that Kiko was a straight forward plodder whom Quigg would destroy. How Frampton fans built him to be this legend of a fighter is beyond me.

Plus the legendary resume Frampton is supposed to possess compared to Quigg.

Fact is they are both quality fighters yet one is doing it the hard way with hardly any exposure whilst one is having smoke blown up his **** by an insane Irish dwarf.

I think Frampton stops Quigg before half way.

But I might be bias because I have found myself wanting Frampton to batter Quigg, I used to like Quigg but after the Cheque stunt with Hearn I can't stand him. I thought it was pathetic and embarrassing.

Maybe it's irrational but it turned me

Also Quigg isn't a world champion and it annoys me they keep pretending he is.

Unless he gets lucky again like he did against Kiko I cant see Quigg troubling Frampton. Its hard to think of a single area of boxing that Quigg is better at. Body-punching maybe?
Provided Frampton shows up fit he will have too much skill in every department - too much strength in depth, for Scott. Quigg could be made to look ordinary if Carl sparkles like we know he can.

Does it matter that I am from Dublin. I have watched both fighters closely for years. Carl offers more. Kiko v Quigg in the first round Kiko was all over Quigg and rocking him. Quigg caught Kiko with a good punch and won the fight. Unlike Kiko Carl wont go gun ho for the KO like Kiko does he will do it differently and will dismantle whoever he is fighting and pick better shots. For a small guy his jab and basics and fighting off the back foot will be too good for Quigg. Quigg coming forward and Carl will pick him off. I hope this is there next fight as Carl has a point to prove and he will put up show over the last fight were you could see he was embarrased by how poorly he boxed in that first round. But showed the heart of a champion and won clear on points.

He was shocking in his last fight and brought back down to earth with a bump.

He was hurt everytime the Mexican connected and its amazing how you are clinging to the fact that, yes Quigg lost the first round but he was never shook or rocked. Unlike Frampton who was down and hurt throughout the fight.

Its a great fight between two top tier fighters but Frampton has been the blue eyed boy who it seems has a ready made excuse when someone either betters him (Quigg over Kiko) or sub par performances.

Good fight. Leaning on Frampton, but wouldn't be betting on this one!

Theres numerous videos of the fight on youtube, go look then tell me at what point in the first round was Kiko all over Quigg and rocking him.

Its an absolute MYTH, Quigg was poor, but landed plenty of counters, and was lining Kiko up for the money shot from the get go. Except for the one clean hard shot that Kiko landed in the last 30 seconds, it was nothing more than Quigg trying too hard to get the KO, and Kiko punching Quiggs arms.

Why can't Carls fans be honest and objective ?

The further the fight goes the better quiggs chances become. I honestly think unless frampton kos quigg early then quigg gets a mid to late stoppage. Far too strong and IMO much fitter and also hungrier. I think It will be cagey to begin with but frampton will tire under pressure from a much bigger guy and get stopped
