Did you notice DL didn't even fall down? The other guys were KTFO in those fights.

I bet you were one of those clowns who bashed Golota for quiting against Tyson. Even after learning he fractured his dome and another punch could have seriously damaged his mental state

The only difference in these videos is that Lemeiux wasn't KO'd by it, but I don't think that makes a difference.

Right, not only that but how many times has something like this happened where a fighter didn't get DQ'd (because the opponent didn't dive for example) and it didn't become a famous incident?

Someone should do some research and post examples! Any volunteers? :)

It wouldn't have come close to RUbios disgraceful quit job off the first punch he felt in the second round.

It makes all the difference because they "weren't" able to continue due to an illegal action.

I remember in Kovalev-Cleverly fight Kovalev hit him whilst he was on the floor.

If Lemieux stays down, it's Golovkin at fault. You are victim blaming.

I did give Lemieux credit in an earlier post in this thread. The right choice, in my humble opinion, it was not.

Look, realistically Lemieux did not have enough time to think all his options through. If he'd known he'd lose the fight lopsidedly (although he was well behind by that point) and if he had a few minutes to think about it - I doubt he'd stood up and given Golovkin's foul a free pass. Staying down would've been too appealing an opportunity to pass up but he probably struggled with his composure and the time pressure the ref imposed on him.

I disagree, it's like a low blow, for example. Should a point be docked only when they need additional time or after any low blow?

You would deduct a point every single time a low blow is thrown? You could be a famous referee!
