Alvarez is faster, better defensively, and a better counter puncher, there is no reason why he shouldn't be given a good chance especially if he wins impressively in Nov.

Not even Canelo beleives he can beat GGG. Saul's own manager
said publicly he didn't think he could hang with the KO king.
    That's saying something

"It's well known that Gennady Golovkin - when he fights in the United States - is under exclusive contract with HBO. Lara is with Golden Boy and fights on Showtime. So while he is a great fighter for whom we have a tremendous amount of respect, the bottom line is that HBO is our biggest strategic partner and it's up to his promoter to get him accepted by HBO.
"The strange thing is that his name really never came up. His insistence took us by surprise. It's not that Gennady doesn't want to fight him - he'll fight anyone and continues to prove that. But we were looking at fighters who we know can and will fight on HBO."

This a quote from GGG's manager. And I can call what I want an excuse an excuse. People have said many times over the years Mayweather was ducking Pac for the same reason. Well I choose to say GGG is ducking Lara....

    :yep

Oh, and Haymon fighters fight on PBC, not Sho, so there goes you SHO?HBO Strife excuse. Next?!?

And what does that have to do with GGG fighting on HBO, Al Haymon has an issue with TR, not K2

So, my point remains the same.

Lara consults with Al Haymon and fights on Showtime. Golovkin fights on HBO. Unless Lara left Showtime then the fight is impossible to make. That's not ducking. That's politics.

    It's easy as 2+2, really.

wylan, this is a forum for adults, so you should go back to your kindergarten and learn reading comprehension. You've heard something somewhere some time ago, but things changed drastically. Lara is not with GB anymore, and GB works with HBO A LOT. Haymon is the reason why many fights are not happening. One of the best known examples is Kovalev vs Stevenson.

Right, adults. Full of excuses adults i guess. When He called him out, he was with GB, GGG's promoter's excuse was GB fights SHO, which we know is not true, now that he is with Haymon, it's Haymon is network TV. Keep coming with your excuses.. I'm loving everyone of them.

So what's GGG's excuse for not fighting Ward now then. With only 150K ppvs, it's now proven he is not a draw. Chances are the winner of Cotto/Canelo is not fighting him. Ward just signed a contract with HBO. Yet his team is looking at Tureano Johnson?!? Please

He's fought on Showtime before the PBC incorporation. Pretty sure this will be his first fight on PBC, no? Tell Lara to leave PBC and go to HBO because Golovkin is 100% NOT going to fight on PBC.
