Oh gosh, you are? Well, for someone in law, it's a poor defense. Resorting to ad hominem in an argument only weakens your position. You should know that!
They made this statement before, you see I think there's a good chance of Canelo-GGG next, GGG I think MAY fight someone before that (the fight may be scheduled for May for example and GGG may decide to take another on say January) but Canelo will be facing GGG after Cotto, it think it totally makes sense and I don't see a reason why it shouldn't happen, Canelo wants big fights and this is one of the biggest for him.
Yeah Canelo vs GGG is a lot more likely than Cotto vs GGG. I think Cotto should move down to 147 and fight someone like Tim Bradley or Keith Thurman anyway. He has no business at 160 and he doesn't have any big fights left at 154 after Canelo. Although Canelo vs Cotto ending in a draw is also a serious possibility both from a boxing and marketing perspective. I imagine Cotto would take the rematch even if it costs the stripping off his belt.
GBP won't let Canelo within 3 time zones of GGG if he beats Cotto. Not right away atleast. Too much money to be made with him fighting lesser fighters he's way younger than GGG time is on their side not GGG's. GBP can't afford a loss with their cash cow especially with their already depleted stable. This is boxing business 101.:deal
canelo / cotto will have a rematch. they will throw the bumland belt to the trash can . ggg can pick it there :yep
I don't care what GBP wants, but I think they believed Canelo can beat GGG (don't know how, but that's the feeling they give off...). Plus, Canelo is too prideful to give up the belt due to what his promotion thinks is best. He takes challenges, he believes he can beat GGG, and he is too prideful.
Money, obviously. That's the reason he was willing to put his unification dreams on hold for a super middleweight bout with Froch or Chavez Jr.
So the b!tches can rematch íf they want to but without the WBC belt.. they can met then somewhere near 152.. just leave 160 if you haven't the bälls to fight there :good
Being undisputed means a lot more as having the lineal title. Who in his right mind called Spinks the Heavyweight champ back in '87 or Briggs 10 years later?
You just contradicted yourself. So the only reason he wants the titles is to make the most amount of money? Then the answer to the question is moneys more important to GGG than titles
Titles and money aren't two very different things though. Wherever there's money there will be titles too one way or another. How else would Jean Pascal or Adrien Broner land another shot at the belt so soon? Because they are money makers and sanctioning bodies especially WBC and WBA are actually belt shops.
