    They also thought Canelo could beat PBF:deal But PBF was worth the risk because he was the king of boxing it was a win win situation for them exposure, career high payday and the possibility of beating PBF. With GGG not so much, GBP won't risk Canelo losing to GGG after such a high profile win over Cotto you're a fool if you think otherwise.

    I really see it as a pick em fight due to Canelos youth and size advantage. I just can't confidently picture the fight in my head though. Either guy controlling most of the fight would not shock me. Although I do feel Cotto's fast, hard left hook IS the best punch in this match up.

    Cotto is far from prime but Alvarez moves like the Mummy in those old Boris Karloff movies. If Cotto uses his movement and boxes Alvarez, he will have Alvarez turning into punches all night long. I agree that Cotto's left hook is the best punch in the fight but his jab will probably be more important. Alvarez, to me, is the most overhyped fighter currently out there.

    it happened multiple times before, and it will probably happen again if the winner of Canelo/Cotto runs for the hills.

    Tyson wasn't undisputed when he fought Spinks. Spinks also held the IBF title.

    yes he was! All 3 major belts at the time WBC, WBA, IBF (won 4 fights earlier against Tucker)
