    SOURCE is the HYPE.

Says he, "will never give another fighter the weight advantage again" and that his "body is not ready for 160".

Do you believe he is genuine or just calling B.S.?

That was the first thing I learned from my loss to Floyd, to not give any weight advantages, neither more or less, so if he wants to fight with me, let him come down to 155 and I'll fight him whatever day he wants," stated former world champion Canelo Alvarez, who made it crystal clear that undefeated middleweight champion

If little G complains about this he is a hypocrite as he only wanted Ward at 164.

Well then it's not a MW title fight... Enough with this catchweight BULL. GGG is obligated to make the MW limit, nothing more nothing less.

    Hmm.

So if what I've read on this forum today is true, Roach is saying they want Golovkin after Canelo and Canelo is making stips for any potential bout with GGG down the line.

What does that say, if anything, about the confidence of the Cotto and Canelo fights going into this one?

Canelo knows GGG won't fight for the 160 title at a catchweight.

GGG weighed 170 on fight night with David. Canelo weighed 172 for Trout.
Oscar is about to renege on his promise.:huh

Catchweight bull has hurt boxing a lot in recent years.... **** that, title fights should not be held at catchweight, SIMPLE AS THAT. Catchweights are ok for tune ups, or novelty fights. Not when a title is on the line.

He has to beat Cotto first and second, who ever wins this fight can't reduce the mw title to a jmw/mw title lol... You are either the champ at 160 or not.

Canelo is 168 pounds NOW, one month before the fight, and he looks RIPPED. I just don't see what he could lose, under than perhaps completely dehydrating himself and then using an IV to rehydrate. He is physically bigger than Gennady, but he knows his youth will let him get away with these torturous weight games. If I was Gennady I might have offered a fight at 157.5 or even 158, because he is that much better a fighter and will gain a lot of exposure, but I won't be upset if TrippeGod tells GBP to duck off.
