    Fight night, f*ck lol
Canelo weighs 3.7lbs more 30 days from his fight than GGG did 30 days out.
Canelo's fight is at 155lbs. Golovkin fought at the MW limit, 160lbs:lol:

Clearly using his youth to his advantage in order to drain down more. Weak sauce, Canelo. Weak. Sauce.

Should he beat Cotto he needs to man up and defend that 160 title at 160 ffs. He's not a small dude like Cotto.

Agreed. This catchweight nonsense needs to stop. It makes the sport of boxing look like a joke.

Wouldn't you just love that? That Canelo gets to pull this chicken **** tactic to try and drain Golovkin in order to fight for the LINEAL MIDDLEWEIGHT (160 POUND) TITLE. At least some of the folks that are typically very critical of GGG are calling this out for the bs that it is.

Amusing how this bothers Triple Duck fans but it didn't bother them he would only fight Ward @ 164.....anything above 154 is MW..:hey..if he wanted more negotiating power he needed a decent PPV but it was a flop..:deal

So, GGG gets the belt for free and can (probably will) become the next undisputed champion without being lineal.
As I understand the Ring have also mentioned stripping if they vacate, so the lineal title will be the only thing that remains if they refuse to rise to the occasion and fight Golovkin at Middleweight.

After that it's either step up for guys like Canelo, Quillin etc or fight for minor belts wich nobody but a few of deluded fans take seriously (WBF/WBA "interim/regular"/IBA).

So let me get this right, canelo is a chicken sh4t cause he'll only fight ggg at 155 pounds but when ggg said out of his mouth that he'll fight ward but only at 164 Pounds? Ggg ain't a chicken sh4t???

"I don't run from anybody. What I will do is never give weight advantages. I learned my lesson. That was the first thing I learned from my loss to Floyd, to not give any weight advantages, neither more or less, so if he wants to fight with me, let him come down to 155 and I'll fight him whatever day he wants," stated

How does this have anything to do with Ward? We are talking about fighting Canelo for the 160 title. Canelo weights MORE than GGG on fight night and he wants to drain him down to 155? Trying to equate this with fighting Ward at 164 is ridiculous. Canelo would be defending the LINEAL MIDDLE WEIGHT (160 pound) TITLE. They are not a weight class apart...they both fight in the MW division.

Ummm, we are talking about Canelo defending the 160 pound title. Be real - Canelo weighs MORE than GGG yet wants to drain him down to 155 because...well, because the young Canelo is able to drain his ass down to 155 and balloon back up over 170 on fight night...and you support this? For the LINEAL MIDDLEWEIGHT (160 POUND) TITLE?

Comparing this to the Ward offer is hilarious. Should we consult Virgil Hunter on the matter?

...and Golovkin is supposed to fight at 168 for the first time against the #1 guy in the division who is also top 1-3 p4p? Sounds like the exact scenario Virgil says one should avoid falling for in the boxing biz.

If Golovkin fought his last 2-3 fights at 162 or some bs catchweight he would be skewered by his critics. Think if he tried to defend the LINEAL SMW (168 pound) TITLE at 164? Holy ****. Heads would explode.
