Him and Oscar have been in denial since the Angulo fight. 155-160 is middleweight. He can make that easy as we can see.

Fights are negotiated. You triple G premature opinionators dis Ward because he was a true threat to GG until he went to lhw. You're all hypocrites on the subject of Ward. Don't worry, he's campaigning at lhw now. Your worries are over. The 33 year old doesn't have to worry about Ward anymore lol.

I'm sorry, but equating GGG wanting to fight other MIDDLEWEIGHT (CHAMPIONS!) at 160 with LHW Ward bumhunting MIDDLEWEIGHTS, trying to drag them up to 168, just doesn't compute.

Ok, replace "LHW" with "SMW" and it's every bit as pathetic. What is your response then?

PS-Ward is fighting at LHW now and hasn't fought at SMW for two years. I mean, in the post I quoted of yours you even state "he's campaigning at lhw now"...so why would you think I'm talking about the Olympics, man?

Middleweight is anything from 154.1 pounds to 160..

Either GGG gets weight drained and beat up by Canelo, or he moves up and gets beat up by Ward... he's in a very awkward situation right now.. :rofl

Hopkins accepted the 156 pound CW against Oscar for all 4 belts and beat up the smaller man like he was supposed to.

There's always the option for Bummy to stay in bumland, knocking out the Stevens in this world.. won't mean nothing when Canelo is the champ though, LMFAO..

As if the WBC will strip a high profile Mexican fighter like Alvarez, where have you guys been? How do you think Alvarez won the WBC belt at 154 in the first place.. :rofl

Some people here actually hoping on corruption and weight draining so the best middleweight can't become middleweight champion. This is what boxing has become...

I honestly don't think Canelo will beat Cotto, so it might not even matter.

Hey moron, ggg had no problem when he was offer to fight Chavez at 168 pounds which you and everybody knows Chavez if he make 168 pounds would be like 195 pounds on fight night. Ggg was willing to fight Froch at 168 pounds as well remember? Please don't be re****ed. Ggg willing to fight either Chavez or Froch at 168 pounds but yet only willing to fight ward at 164 pounds. Canelo is doing the same thing ggg wanted to do with ward, take advantage at his favor. But yet canelo is a chicken sh4t and ggg isn't right?

Palooka you're an idiot. You cool with ggg for saying he's will only fight ward but at 164 pounds but you say canelo is a chicken sh4t cause he will fight ggg at 155 pounds? And you say cause the middleweight title will be on the line is the reason you say canelo is a chicken ****? Well again ggg was willing to fight either Froch or Chavez at 168 pounds which it wouldn't be for the middleweight. In fact Froch would have to defend his 168 pounds title on the line???

I think you're the idiot around here.

I do not agree with the 164lbs CW offer either, but there are HUGE differences per situation.

If Canelo wins then he is the WBC and Lineal 160lbs champion, and Golovkin is the long overdue mandatory challenger for that belt and isn't going to do any concessions giving Alvarez more chances to get the upset.
Also the WBC ordered this fight, and when Canelo (if he beats Cotto, wich I think he will) wins he has to fight or vacate!

Now we have the proposed Golovkin vs Ward fight.
Ward isn't Golovkin's mandatory at 168, neither is Golovkin even a beltholder there or the lineal champion. He never even fought at 168 ever. needless to say this fight isn't ordered by any org...
The 164 50/50 is the midway point, with no mention of any titles on the line (it's a wonder Ward still has one).

You see the (not so) subtle differences here, or did you miss them and do you need it dumbed down a bit? :blood

I`m a GGG fan and even i can see the irony in the situation.... only the ultra die hards fans can find the reasoning why Canelo is at the wrong and GGG is in the right and dont give me that BS "title on the line" this is less then relevant what matters are the fights and who fights who , and GGG clearly felt overmatched for a 168 fight vs Ward (because he did said OK to Froch/Chavez) the same as Canelo feels overmatched vs a carrer MW , can Canelo make 160 ? sure but so can GGG make 168 (less natural sure , but he can given 10-12 months).
I had a problem with the catch weight requests by the Cotto/Canelo but after the GGG team responses and press releases regarding Ward i say you eat what you cook guys , and you pulled that A side draw BS to leverage where you can and so will other do to you.
and i LOVE GGG but the ultra die hards needs to put down those biased glasses.... "oh no its the title , what have boxing become" is getting abit absurd.
