Would Ward vs Lemieux do better PPV numbers then GGG vs Lemieux did?

No but in their last TV fights Ward on free TV drew 323,000 viewers, while GGG did 1.3m on HBO

Obviously not, Ward isn't as a big draw as Golovkin, that's proven by their ratings when they were both on HBO and by the attendance to their fights. I can't imagine 100K people paying $60 to watch Ward, at least not at the moment.

But Ward has made $2 million for his last 2 fights which is the same as Golovkin made against Lemiuex. Nobody maybe watching Ward but he is still being paid well despite his inability to attract fans to watch his fights.

The A-side is the person people want to see, the ticket seller. As this thread is proving, that is GGG.

But why should GGG move up at fight the champ straight away, when Ward said he'd fight the best at 175 in 2012- so far Paul Smith and Rupert Murdock.

Why not Kovalev now? He was looking for a fight in November. And he would've taken Ward in Jan instead of Pascal again. So why hasn't Ward tried to make that fight yet. GGG has never fought at 168, Ward has already fought at Light Heavyweight. :think

The A sider is the more accomplished fighter.

    That is Ward

    Froch
    Abraham
    Dawson
    Kessler
    Miranda

    GGG

    Martin Murray :rofl:oops:

The A side is the guy ranked #2 P4P in the world

"I am ready to fight the best 168- and 175-pounders that are out there," Ward told ESPN.com in a recent interview. "'m willing to fight anyone at '68 or '75."

From the 5th of Oct 2012.....since then he has fought Rodriguez, Smith and fighting Rupert Murdock

No wonder he never commentates on GGG and Kovalev fights on HBO anymore because he doesn't want to start quacking live on air.:lol:

Right OK, so if Rigo who has no TV network, no fans, can sell a ticket fought Carl Frampton who sells out stadiums in Ireland, has a massive following and TV compaies in the UK and the USA, Rigondeaux is A side right because he's on the P4P list :lol:

    Answer me this then Dino.

Why was Chavez Jr A-side against Sergio Martinez? :think:think

He told the truth. Tried to get GGG. Got turned down , so goes after the biggest bogeyman in the division at a weight he never fought at instead.

    Thats greatness.

GBUM only wants blown up welters or guys on the verge of retirement :tired:-(

It isn't actually. The A side/B side nonsense refers to the business side of things.

Should Murray beat Abraham, I'll be coming back to that post too...

If we are talking about moving up or down, Ward was also OK going to 160 for Floyd but he's not OK going to 164 for GGG which would be the most fair catchweight.

I think we should just let the Ward vs GGG talk go, it's not going to happen. Neither has a belt in each other's weight class to defend, so there's no ducking in the true sense of the word either way.

No he didn't he said he is willing to fight the best at 168 or 175. GGG is 160.

And the best meanwhile include Edwin Rodriguez, Paul Smith and Rupert Murdock.

Give it up Dino. You have owned yourself.

You have the posting style of a 42 year old virgin who wears a baseball cap back to front and rides a bicycle around his mums living room :lol:

Can Ward not drop a weight like Dawson did for him though? GGG was willing to drop a weight to fight Mayweather for a belt at 154 :think

Ward's "deal" was for Golovkin to go ahead and sign 50/50 split right now for a fight in a year/18 months from now.
In that time GGG will have a higher profile and be worth more money and Ward will probably be a light heavyweight:lol:
No promoter/manager would sign that dumbsh*t "deal"

Rigo is the A side and everybody knows it. Frampton wouldn't fight Rigo with a 95 - 5 split in his favour.

Chavez was the A side cos they took the belt off Martinez. If he had the gonads to fight Sergio when he should have , he would have been the B side.
