Probably his last performance against Manny triggered his venom.... Floyd doesn't get much respect from the old school greats. Many of them have been vocal about their opinions regarding Mayweather jr. Floyd on the other hand is a HUGE fan of Roberto. I believe he ranks Duran atop his ATG rankings.

Duran was a true legend... Fought everyone. Started out as a LW and moved up to MW and beat some excellent fighters. Chicken Mayweather was bigger than Duran and afraid to step up to MW, nevermind all the way to SMW like Duran did. Duran can talk all the **** he wants, his legacy says it all.

I would have loved to see Duran and Mayweather at 130. That would have been a barn burner.

A 38 year old Floyd who stood and fought. You saw how easy the second fight was. What was Duran during at 38

Duran would absolutely savage Floyd in his prime.

Fighting Iran Barkley at 38 is greater than Floyd fighting at age 38 against a 36 year old Pac. Go figure...

I agree. Duran was way out of his natural weight and Iran is pretty underrated these days. Let's not forget Barkley actually ended up fighting at heavyweight. So, yeah, I agree.
