That sounds about right. GGG is unknown among casual fans. And he has zero backing from any major ethnic group in the US.

Only the mentally ill that support GGG actually thought he's competing with the likes of Cotto and Alvarez when it comes to actual attraction.

From September 2014, courtesy of Mr. Glaser:

"More #boxing destruction from #Showtime's Stephen #Espinoza has dropped the excellent Friday night #ShoBox series. R.I.P. ShoBox 2001-2014"

Isn't there a card this Friday night?

bunch of idiots. what do you guys expect from someone from KAZAHKSTAN? 90% of Americans cannot locate that country on a map.

GGG is pretty much only known to hardcore boxing fans.

Wait, so I thought 150k is officially the number? Now it's 97k first it was 57k, then 130k, so are there official numbers out or not?

It is not a success strictly financially, but this PPV allowed to have big enough purses to lure Lemieux into the ring and get his belt. So, strategically, it was a success for K2.

I'm hearing different. His number is an outlier compared to other reports.
