If the fight happens right now, where Ward is still convinced he's the A-side, it happens on Ward's terms or doesn't happen at all.

And I'm happy for the best to fight the best, but as yet, Golovkin hasn't proven to be the best in the Middleweight division as he's not even lineal champion

I'm using that as the example because if Ward beat Golovkin in a similar manner to what Rigo beat Donaire, as Ward fanboys claim he will, before either is really a big star, it will hurt GGG's drawing power and not really do anything for Ward's.

'Real boxing fans' are the one who fighters make big money from, it's the casuals.

Once again, you proved yourself a window licker in your first few words and I didn't read the rest of your racist garbage. Casual fans, That's right Puff C. Causals are the one that bring big money to the sport. Not people who want to see a Ward hug fest in front of one man and his dog in Oakland.

Puff C. Over 40,000 post and nothing but racist garbage. :hi:

:good Nice to see you understand that the casuals are the one's who bring in the money.

Most people want to see developing stars squeezed at birth

Wrong, it's about what's good for boxing.

What does better numbers- Ward v GGG now, or Ward v GGG after GGG has beaten the Cotto v Alvarez winner?

Ward sold out the Oracle Area when he fights there though. That's the basis of K2 trying to push a GGG PPV but live fights and PPV are different and they learned that lesson this weekend.

You can't sell a fighter because he is white, which is clearly what they were doing without saying. If that was the case Wlad should have had about 10 PPV fights already.

You're fighting a losing battle with these losers. I don't respect fans like the TS. Don't waste your time here. There are other threads to post in.

No he doesn't. The Chad Dawson fight sold 4,500 tickets, the Paul Smith fight about 8,000.The oracle holds nearly 12,000. Try again

    I dont care about numbers

    I care about good fights

I want GGG v winner of Cotto v Alvarez
I like GGG because he is trying to unify a division, that's what all fighters should aspire to

I don't understand the screaming for GGG to fight Ward

ward is a huge SMW, practically a LHW

GGG ain't even a huge MW

If Cotto/Alvarez want 160 belts they must be prepared to fight at 160, if they dont then they should fight non title catch weights

I know people who went to the Paul Smith fight and got free tickets. They have street teams giving away tickets everywhere shortly before the card starts.

I know but I'm just saying what is good for boxing.

    Scenario A:
    - The Canelo/ Cotto winner agrees to fight GGG
-That fight does big numbers on PPV
    - The winner of that becomes a huge star then goes onto fight Ward

    Scenario B:
    - The canelo/ cotto winner decides GGG is not a big enough draw after his numbers and decides to either remtach, or call Mayweather out of retirement and boxing doesn't move on.
    - GGG fights Ward now, loses in one sided fashion, but because GGG hasn't truly developed into a star yet, it doesn't do that much for Ward because he stinks the joint out there is no demand to fight him
    - Ward's A side demands become even greater after beating GGG and he decides he wants to be paid more for the risk of fighting Kovalev so says 168 or not at all.
