Bermane Stiverne vs Derrick Rossy Nov 14th - who wins

To be fair Rossy is on par with Wilder' s two defenses, and its still a low key comeback.

 

People who enjoy all levels of boxing will care.

 

That's the bloggers legend, yes, but as I pointed out, there's no real reason to believe it based on competition and performance, which was superior to many more highly regarded contenders of today. Stiverne struggled yes, but he won, which was a credible victory against a top 25 hw at the time. Jennings has struggled against Fedosov who was/is not at that level, Takam lost to Toney, etc etc etc.

 

Exactly what I thought.

 

Fedosov would beat that Austin.

 

Based on what? A spirited but definitive loss against Jennings? A spirited loss against a vastly more shot Whitaker? Austin lost a "spirited" decision against Solis 6 months before he lost to Stiverne, I can't imagine you'd actually argue Whitaker is as good as that Solis (if so, no comment). Everyone Fedosov faced and actually beat is not remotely a top 50 hw.

 

I don't remember Austin being remotely competitive with Solis. :huh

 

Rossy beats the Stiverne from the Wilder fight but loses to the Stiverne from the Arreola fights

 

Down in 5th, had a point deducted in 10, then dq'd after, but otherwise was competitive. Scores were 93/95, 93/94 90/98 despite the kd and point deduction.

 

Stiverne is B level? You're so flattering

 

Stiverne will win, though he might not have it all his own way if he shows up in poor shape. If he's back to his normal self I expect him to stop him without too much difficulty.

 

They are equal in boxing skills. Stiverne will win because he has a better chin and punching power.

 

It was the same guy. For all his faults Wilder can box (and has length & height) unlike Arreola.
