    Zumbano Love is getting drummed on against the ropes. Body shots, lead rights on the chin, and back-slaps by Ruiz Jr. on the inside. Zumbano Love occasionally shuffles his way free and hops on a slow carousel, flicking out jabs, but inevitably gets walked down and worked over. Big looping right by Zumbano Love, flush on the neck of Ruiz Jr., landing with a loud wet smack - but not enough to steal him the round.

    Zumbano is going to end up answering the phone when it's not ringing in a few years if he keeps taking the amount of punishment he's taken in every fight of his I've seen so far, sans the early blowout against Joshua which is an impressive result for Joshua given Zumbano's durability.

    getting into dangerous territory Zumbano's getting hit repeatedly with very hard shots that are just barely not able to get him out of there that does tend to be the recipe for a death in boxing. His corner should stop it it's not like he can knock Ruiz out or anything anyway.

    Crawford's opponent looks stiff as a board. Should be a relatively easy win if his warming up is any indication of how he fights.

    I actually think boxing should adopt one aspect from UFC...

    I think refs should talk to boxers more. Not about what they had for breakfast or which brand of condom they like, but I think they should do more of "Hey, Zumbano Love, knock sweat off this dudes head in 30 seconds or I'm calling it for you."

    Zumbano Love is jogging away, Ruiz Jr. measuring with his jab and lining up big right hands. Zumbano Love is staggered but keeps his footing and waves a jab around the vicinity of Ruiz Jr.'s head while moving backward. Ruiz Jr. misses a hook as Zumbano Love circles by and then stuffs a right hand into his guard to hold him in place. Ruiz Jr. slips a few jabs bobbing his way in but doesn't capitalize.
