This. So many fighters look unbeatable for 2-3 years and then fizzle, losing to some no-hoper who is having a good night. But then they are overrated because "on their best night" they could handle anybody. It takes serious commitment to rule an era like Wlad. He's without question an ATG, and I think top 5 ATG.
Here comes one of the resident Klitschko haters, how's the Wladamir Klitschko hate association going these days? Have Dinovelvet, Derrick, and yourself had success in recruiting new members?
you say that, and then I say, what all time great ever was wiped out everytime he stepped up to fight someone who wasn't bad, running from a rematch unable to prove he could actually beat them? (although to his credit he has improved a bit to outwrestle, pov and haye who certainly weren't bad too). and then you spout nonsense inventions (top 5 atg? LOL) whilst foaming at the teeth like you are doing now, whilst I clearly praise wlads actual REAL abilities like longevity. don't vent your frustrations about wlads lack of breadth of boxing ability at me - just praise the real stuff like I do. so, as long as your wifi keeps working well in your padded cell, lead on macduff.
Yawn..... Same old tired anti-Klitschko rhetoric we've heard over and over again. Wlads beaten plenty of good fighters, you know that but don't want to admit it, to say he lost every time he stepped up in class is ridiculous, in fact his record is littered with opponents BETTER than the 3 men with wins against him. I never said top 5 atg... I simply stated he's an ATG.... It's becoming harder and harder to deny that. Even many non-fans admit it, it's only the fanatical obsessive haters like you, Dinovelvet, and a couple of others on this board, along with a few fossils blinded by nostalgia who refuse to acknowledge it.
Asides from the obvious. But then if you want to go by that, I believe Tyson has one of the highest number of defences at heavyweight. Louis, Klitscko, Holmes all have much more defences. Ali has 10, Frazier, Tyson, Lewis and Vitali are all even at 9. So, still waiting to see how Tyson is overrated.
Some of those guys lacked consistency, and work ethic though... Even if most could have beaten anyone on Wlads resume at their best, there's a few of them(notably Bowe) who had tremendously poor work ethic, and had very short careers as a result. Shavers is not an all time great heavyweight, not even close....
ironic that's you using the same reply that you just did, in telling me you've heard it before. insane! I've just listed his 2 post defeat decent wins. ridiculous to pretend I didn't! HoFer would be more accurate, for being first brothers to share hw titles concurrently. ATG remains to be seen once retired, but you knew that already.
ATG status was signed the second he reached the second most all time title defenses. He may even take over 1st considering he is still active which will only boost that ATG status. I'm not even a Wlad fan. Facts are facts though
shame for your "facts" that you have to invent them, holmes is 2nd. He wasn't an ATG when he reached 20 either. this is no longer even funny, writing " facts are facts" doesn't make a lie a fact, but can see why you want to feel that you NEED to write it.
