That was at 135 and morales was faded. He looked like a shell of himself there.

He had to get savvier with more experience and while fighting men that were bigger than his previous opponents. Having written that, Erik was ALWAYS game even when he was past it and fighter young bulls. El Terrible was about everything that's good about boxing.

 

A pre Raheem Morales at 130 is NOT the best fighter May would ever fight. Erik was good at 130 but there is nothing to indicate he was on a Mayweather or Arguello level. Guty Espadas, whom he'd already beaten at 126?

 

For one who despises Mayweather, it pains me to say that this would be a rather "in the bag" fight for him...even given that Morales was a renown ring warrior.

Yes I am quite aware of that terrific victory, but you wrote that 130 pound Pre Raheem Erik would be the best fighter Floyd would ever fight which all of the other evidence indicates otherwise.

I never said it did. Just where oh where did I write anything like that? You wrote ud12 EM over Pac at 130 and I responded ud12 MAB over EM BEFORE EM beat Pac at 130. Just what are you trying to say?

 

That Morales is an ATG and holds a victory over prime Pacquiao, the only man who does by the way.

And that this clearly proves that a pre Raheem and non faded Morales is far and away better than anybody Mayweather has ever fought.

Thus taking Mayweather into a territory of opposition that he has never encountered before. Thus introducing unknown variables into this hypothetical matchup that are very important to consider.

 

Tin, HE LOST TO MAB BEFORE HE BEAT SAID PRIME PAC AT 130. THIS IS FACT. How could he be better than May and "far and away" better than anyone that May has ever beaten:nut? Does that make MAB better than May at 130 and far and away better than anyone May has beaten because he beat EM there as well?

I've never disputed Erik is an atg. At 130 though he's certainly not the Atg

 

A prime MAB is a better p4p fighter than Floyd ever fought. The best men Floyd has fought he weren't washed up were Corrales, Hatton and Castillo. None of those guys are great fighters.
