I actually think Scott will beat him, I just have a hard time garnering confidence on a fighter who either took a dive or just decided that he had zero chance and took the first possible out he thought he had. Thompson has been showing age a lot since his double-destruction of David Price (and hell, he was showing it then too).
I think on my scorecard I'll probably have Scott winning, however I get the feeling PBC would rather have Thompson win to set up an opponent for Wilder because Wilder v Scott II isn't really marketable.
I'm going for Scotty on points, but this is as much 50/50 as it comes. Thompson is really showing signs of decline and Scott can box. But if he is in gambling debt again, I wouldn't be surprised if he took another dive in the 1st or 2nd to pay it off.
