thinking of switching gyms opinions

    I was at the gym I think I understand why iv not been getting the attention I was told its the amateur season or something so the trainer has been training the fighters for their upcoming fights.
    is this a valid reason do you think I was told by someone if you want him to do work with you then before the session just tell him.
    is this a good idea

    How old are you man?

    If you are older and you don't seem to far along, many trainers won't be interesting in training you. Also from watching your shadow boxing video, I would reccomend watching other pros shadow box and emulate more what they do. Your punches don't have much snap on them and your hand positioning is way off at times. Also you need to work on your hook a lot. You can improve all those things.

    I am 24 years old I seem older cos of the beard.
    I have alot to work on my footwork is terrible iv been working on fully extending my arms when throwing my punches and punching from the shoulder and the hip.
    iv been shaddow boxing trying to perfect my technique keeping my arms up etc.I watch sparring videos etc and pros

    Be more assertive or go to another gym boss.
