Which fight happens first: Ward-Kovalev or GGG-Canelo/Cotto winner?

    Ward has two tuneups before it so, considering Ward takes this deal and his career seriously, then Ward/Kovalev could happen this fall at the soonest. For Golovkin, expect that fight in either the spring or summer IF Canelo doesn't vacate.

    After Cotto-Canelo 1 comes Cotto-Canelo ll.
    While that is happening Golovkin will probably fight another top shelf opponent, Allan Green.

    But surely the Mexican lacks the jaw,
    To withstand the might of great little G,
    Whose power befills his fanboys with glee!
    But this is a mismatch for sure you can see,
    We all know the outcome, so just let it be,
    Whereas Ward and the Russian each in the ring,
    Would undoubtedly crown a new pound for pound King!

    I'm optimistic about Cotto/Canelo-GGG, I think in the end it makes sense for them to fight GGG, it should happen.

    Kovalev-Ward, I'm not sure with Ward constantly getting into legal issues and inactivity and what not but it seems to be quite far off even if it will happen, I suspect the former will happen before that or around the same time. Hope I am right.

    I think you're the one overrating Golovkin Rummy, not his fans. If a 33 years old little man was able to give Holyfield, the greatest cruiserweight in the history all he could handle, I'm sure GGG will eventually find his match at middleweight.
