Haha Davie I like you, I mean regarding managers and that, I can't stand how fighters get ripped off. And people who make comments change when it comes to money. We have spoken about this in person on what goes on. Davie down in Coventry after Ronnie fight when you had a heated debate with one of his fans summed you up, no point in polishing a turd, and say your opinion. More than certain people we know.

Did I miss this debate?? In fairness I think its hard for anyone here because you are a good egg Davie. But your from Aberdeen its like hard to say your one of the good guys because all those sheep say differently.. Was there any competitive matches tonight?

 

Not sure about the matches mate, just like seeing our boxers getting bouts. It's early in the MGM set up but I would hope they bring some decent fights to Scotland. You guys from Dundee always get the hump when the sheep run away from you!! haha

Boxing crazy you've a lot to say on here but instead sniping from anonymity why don't you have the courage of your convictions and state your name? Your obviously involved in boxing so a bit pathetic that you'd have digs on a message board that you probably don't have the ***** to make in public when you attend shows. The excuses you've provided so far are ****. To my mind you've opened you've got brave because you're on the net and now folk want to know who u are your **** has went.

 

Results from last night:

- Michael Roberts drew with Reynaldo Cajina in a 6 rounder.

- Ross Henderson won on his debut on points. Had his opponent (who to me looked like a very tall but small heavyweight who could fight at light heavyweight!) Had his opponent down in the first but also had a points deduction.

- Marc Kerr won on points against what sounded like a tricky opponent, an apparent good performance.

- Lewis Benson cruised to a points victory.

 

Brophy fight was cancelled because of his bout in December I think I read in Boxing News.

 

Checked boxrec and Henderson's opponent is a 6 foot 8 Cruiserweight journeyman who does have a couple of upset W's on his record. Not sure what the points deduction was for.

Roberts fight was apparently a decent s**** and from what I've heard a fair enough result. Doesn't sound like MGM were too concerned with the draw and were just glad the cobwebs were blown off and get his career going.

Brophy's fight in December is a Commonwealth Title Eliminator against Ghanian Charles Adamu so believe they are keeping him fresh for that.

Had to re-read that. Could not imagine Billy Nelson name alongside the word run. Billy nothing he said there was a dig, said ideally another fight for him could have done him well before his first real fight

 

So back to an earlier question, does Scotland have two active heavyweights now in Ross Henderson and Gary Cornish?

Probably two more than we've ever had to be honest...
