him and hbo wouldnt have worked out a deal if ward didnt want to fight kovalev...its pretty much a done deal unless somebody loses unexpectedly......one of the biggest fights in the sport

Totally. GGG usually goes years without fighting for some reason or other, only to come back with journeyman opponents of decreasing quality once every Olympic cycle or so. There's nothing to see there. After Heiland, we'll be lucky to see him in the ring again by 2018. And when we do, it'll probably be against Alfonso Gomez or something.

Ward's consistent 3-4 fight a year schedule, mostly against rated contenders, is significantly more fan friendly. The man delivers what he promises, much to the delight of fans everywhere.
