you don't see the comparison of Hopkins fighting former WW Tito at 160 and Golovkin wanting to fight former WW and current MW Lineal Cotto at MW? are you that stupid? :patsch

What the hell did K2 do to you :lol::lol:

This post doesn't even make sense by your loopy standards. It contradicts itself so much that there's nothing left to do but shake one's head.

I didn't think it was possible, but the damage is getting worse. :rofl

Poor comparison and only highlights the shallow talent pool 3g wants to step into.

Trinidad was unbeaten and had obliterated Vargas and and Joppy. Joppy wasn't no mickey mouse fight against a one legged , shot to bits 40 year old.

Then Trinidad battered Mayorga to pieces - another MW . Cotto got shut out by Austin Trout and drained club fighter Geale down to zombie town.

Trinidad was almost 6 foot and was proven. Cotto is a 5'7 midget who only is where he is due to politics and severe weight draining

only difference is those were big money fights, whereas today the guys who hold the belts and bring the most money are running for the hills and making ridiculous demands towards the rightful challenger

sorry, second difference, most of yesterday's champions didn't calculate and made the biggest fights the fans wanted happen, unlike today

height isn't something that determines at what weight one should fight, Paul Williams was a 6'1 WW with a 79" reach ffs :patsch

Trinidad vs Hopkins wasn't seen as a mismatch. Lots of people though Trinidad would win. It was a good fight to make. Tito was a bogeyman , not a coddled cherry picker like Cotto.

Fans were excited for that fight. No real boxing fan should want to see Glovkin in the ring with Cotto. Whats even more shameful , is the fact 3G is chasing that fight like crazy:-:)dead

he's chasing unification, even if the winner of Cotto/Canelo vacates, he'll still be after the belt rather than the winner

That only applies if the division is worth unifying. It isn't. He uses it as an excuse to have an easy ride.

Cruiser , SBW, WW, JWW, JMW are all divisions worth unifying. You don't set out to unify a waste land of vacant paper straps:oops:

Lol it's funny to see these mental gymnastics to justify a blatant double standard... "But, but Trinidad was taller!!" Jesus. BTW it's not about Cotto, it's about him beating THE man at the weight which he's yet to do because he's been ducked by all of them, including Martinez.

Either way on topic, it's not just an elite fighter, it's an elite fighter in another weight class which Golovkin chooses not to fight in at the moment, deal with it. The ship has sailed BTW.

You never stepped into the ring in your life if you believe hight has no significance.

Cotto has no business at MW . None He has essentially dragged the division down to JMW

Trinidad was *undefeated*, a full fledged middleweight, much closer to his prime and an ATG. The differences between Cotto and Tito @ 160 are like night and day. It's only you dimwitted Bumlovstans who don't comprehend.

The FACT still stands. Cotto *isn't* a middleweight whereas Trinidad WAS - with KO power @ the weight. The differences between Cotto and Trinidad @ 160 are like night and day.
