    Terms were agreed ages ago. Carl and his team wouldn't come to Manchester but got backed into a corner by Eddie.

    Seems silly to think how people thought going with Haymon would land Frampton fights against LSC, Mares etc. There was only one fight for him and that was to gry his china smashed by Quigg.

    Great fight, honestly cant pick between the two, think it will definitely be a great fight though, toe to toe action for 12 rounds, cant wait.

    Indeed. I used to think Frampton would win fairly comfortably but Scott really looks like he's come on leaps and bounds.

    It'll be good to put this debate to bed too.

    Yes I agree, Frampton has had an easier progression than Quigg, by that I mean he moved through the levels a lot easier, however up at the level they are at right now Quigg has probably looked more impressive. Either way cant see either taking a step backwards and with it almost definitely being PPV, any idea of any of the undercard?

    No "almost definitely" about it. They are doing a three city tour, its undoubtedly a PPV

    I'm def not. I've thought he looked like he was making improvements ever since he drew to with Salinas.

    I still think Frampton wins, but Carl did look vulnerable in his last fight which suggests this won't be the one sided affair I initially took it for.

    No word on the undercard yet but you'd imagine it to be full of Matchroom's North West contingent. It'd be beyond embarrassing for Eddie if tickets didn't sell well in Manchester after he made such a big deal about it being there and Frampton's history of selling tickets in Belfast.

    Realistically the chance of Quigg landing another hail mary is slim. Its not as if he has a history of big ko wins is it?

    This could be more one-sided than people expect. Expect Carls movement, slick skills and great jab, power etc to be too much for the very good Quigg.

    Easy nights work for Carl.

    You're also reading too much into Carls last fight. He looked brilliant after a poor first, admittedly. Boxed superbly - really slick, masterful stuff. Far superior to anything I've seen from Quigg. That version of Carl would beat Quigg - and he wont have any of the weight problems etc this time round (hopefully!).
    Far from taking reassurance from the Gonzalez fight - Quigg fans should now be more worried han ever!

    Eubank could be out again by February as could Campbell. I doubt Joshua will be on the bill if they go for Teper next.
