I would have to go with Morrison by KO. He had limitations but an excellent left hook. Neither man exactly had a George Chuvalo jaw.

Goes much like how Bobick's fight against Norton went.

I read somewhere the Angelo Dundee avoided a fight with Bobick for Ali. He was a pretty good prospect.

My understaning is that if Bobick beat Norton, he was supposed to fight Ali next.

Correct. After Ali-Norton 3, Ali clearly did not want to fight Norton again, so the "road-block" of Bobick was put in Norton's way. After obliterating Bobick, Ken still couldn't get the shot he deserved.

Regarding the original question, this could go either way; the punch resistance of both left a lot to be desired. Sure, Morrison could kayo Bobick, but as stated above, if Bentt could kayo Morrison, I'm sure Duane could too.

    He who lands first wins.

Its a shame Duane Bobick was cursed with a soft chin. He actually had talent, decent skills and a good punch. As for the winner between he and Morrison I concur with the poster who said that it goes to the guy who lands big first.

I don't think Bobick was much of a single shot puncher, rather an attrition sort of operator. He would have needed to have softened Morrison up sufficiently over the first 7 or 8 rounds of action...and I don't think that he'd have been successful at all in attempting this....Morrison, superior in every way to Kallie Knoetze, would have decimated Bobick within the first 3 rounds, more likely, in the 2nd round for a clean knockout. I can't even imagine Duane surviving one of those big left hooks to the head.

    Was Bentt superior to Kallie?

I haven't the slightest...he may have been, but like I said, all it would have taken was a single bomb from Morrison,...one of those sudden, deadly left hooks. Your question should have been, "was Bobick an equal to Bentt power wise", and the answer to that would be "no"...it was Bentt's power that made the difference vs Tommy, nothing else, and like I said, Duane Bobick wasn't a single shot bomber...he depended on an accumulation of his punches to wear down an opponent. Morrison would have caught Bobick even easier than Kallie did...and Duane could be caught,...again, and again and again, like vs Young Sanford. This would have been a brutally quick, sudden termination of Bobick.

I love watching morrisons fight style and it deserved a better chin but who'd win??
Bobick had 2 wins as an amateur over Larry Holmes which I know doesn't matter, but......
    I'll go with morrison
