One of the most talented SuperHW's in Bowe when he put it all together, vs. a defensive spoiler with a hell of a chin in Young. Does Bowe get a boxing lesson, or can he turn it up enough for a KO or decision. Thoughts?

Bowe would not knock young out. I felt Tunns deserved at least a draw against Bowe if not the W. Young probably gets treated the same a close L that many ppl feel he won (yet again)

Watch Bowe vs Larry Donald. And Hide who ran foe his life.

Bowe could adapt to any style.

A man with Bowes style will always beat a man with Youngs.

    Just watch Ike vs Byrd.

A SHW brawler vs a defensive in-spoiler will only ever end one way.

I watched all of Youngs televised bouts including his bouts with Ali, Norton and Foreman live. I was a big fan. Jimmys lack of offence makes this a Bowe win but Bowe would need to be at his best.

I liked Young but this is a bad match for him. He'd be undersized here, lacks the punch to hurt Bowe or the workrate to outhustle him. Bowe would probably win on aggression and activity.

If Tony Tubbs could bamboozle and give Bowe a close, hard fight, then Jimmy Young,..oh man, all I can say is that Young would have made Bowe look foolish,......but of course he'd get screwed by the judges as usual. Oh, and by the way, size disparities never bothered Jimmy at all.

Bowe batters him and stops him.

    Young by decision

He would use the blue print a slightly past his prime Tubbs used to frustrate Bowe and arguably beat him. Young would tie him up, break his rhythm and catch him coming in. Bowe simply did not use his height affectively. This would be similar to Young/Foreman except Bowe didn't hit as hard as Foreman.
