Hey I'm not at all unhappy, it's nice to see hype trains derailed once in a while. That's part of what makes the sport fun. :bart:good

Well, maybe not quite. Provodnikov soaked up punishment from a much bigger p4p hitter than Durodola in Matthysse and was never down (or in half as much trouble as Kudryashov was there for most of the 2nd)

He has talent and excellent power but like you say his ring IQ is poor and he's far too lackadaisical. He should've jumped on Durodola after hurting him in the first especially given the swelling on his eye but even then he was lacking devil. :patsch

That's true, Provo's chin is unreal.
Props to Durodola, he started very fast, good hand speed, accurate and decent pop.

Duradola's got really nice blend of handspeed and power. Nice addition to the ranks of solid cruiserweight contenders. :good

He won't even get as close to being as good as Provo unless he changes a lot of things and maybe he never will even if he does.

The rest of the fights are going to get progressively less competitive. That little blitzkrieg may have been the card's peak, unless Chakhkiev vs. Afolabi turns into a FOTY candidate (which it could, but it could just as easily fizzle).

Lebedev at worst takes a while to warm up and drops some rounds to Kayode, but once he gets a rhythm he will own him.

Povetkin vs. Wach, you can pencil in your 120-108 scorecards and skip it, basically. There will be no drama.
