    Lewis is asked how a fighter recovers from something like this.

    He says just dust yourself off and don't fixate on it and get back to work, and says he's one to say, having been on the receiving end of a 1-punch KO loss twice in his career but always returning.

    Lewis reiterates that Chakhkiev needs to polish his technical skills. The Russians aren't letting him get in too many words before interrupting him (before his words have even been translated) and chattering at each other in Russian while he stands there looking confused and annoyed.

    Fantastic card - puts anything in Britain we've had recently to shame.

    But these fights were risky for the Russian promoter (who is it?), risks that haven't entirely paid off given the two brutal KOs of two of their upcoming fighters.

    I wouldn't be surprised if Povetkin stops Wach. Sure Wach has an iron jaw but I think Wlad could've stopped him had he thrown more hooks. Most of his shots were straight rights and jabs in that one and Wach saw a lot of them coming. Granted they were still really powerful but I feel like Wlad hurt him a few times with big hooks. A lot of referees would've stopped it in the 8th when Wlad really went to town on him with those vicious hooks. Wlad gassed a little bit after that IMO.

    Wach took a terrible beating in that fight too so you never know how much it's taken out of him. Taking that kind of pounding of someone with Wlad's savage power has got to take something out of you regardless of how tough you are.

    Wach is a dangerous opponent though. Anyone that size and that much bigger than you with a punch and a rock like chin poses a risk. Wlad was on top form when he fought him and much more aggressive than usual. Povetkin is obviously a much better fighter than him though

    Usky looks like a sure bet to be #1 in his weight class.

    Other fighters like Beterbiev, and Krytov are beastly punchers.

    The story of the Olympics I think will be how well the eastern euro fighters do in the lower weights.

    Lebedev? Lebedev is the DEFINITION of dumb boxer. The ones that already lost make him look half good by comparison, but he's as dumb as one can be in the ring: face first, only wide hooks trying for a ko, no defence, no jab.

    People think he's half decent because he annhiliated Roid, but he was losing COMPLETELY until he landed a lucky punch on Roid's glass chin. Even him looked surpised of what happened.

    Lebedev is tough, and... nothing else.

    I'm not calling another upset- Povetkin is MUCH more likely to be beaten that Lebedev, but let's not pretend the guy is something else.

    2-1 after Kayode, I'm afraid. I don't think Kayode would beat the Nigerians that already fought, and Lebedev is the best Russian of the 3.
