    In the first round he landed a few of them and kept Lebedev from landing anything really clean. That's enough to shade a nothing round, and it was a better start than expected.

    Lebedev boxed well in general, though. And he certainly finished it in style.

    I get the feeling Lebedev could've done that six rounds ago if he wanted to, but (as some don't seem to comprehend) the guy is a natural counter-puncher who prefers to start intentionally slow to "read" his opponent and then set about dissecting them. Always been his M.O.

    Good performance from Lebedev he must've been under a lot of pressure after both his countrymen losing and I think he was tentative because of it. Takes some of the pressure of Povetkin now too. I think Lebedev would've done Kayode in 4 rounds max had he been less tentative. And Lededev is clearly very skilled. :patsch
