Looks as though Mark Heffron is back on form, two stoppages in his last 2, one in the first & another in the second. He has power,of that there is no doubt, he's 11-0 (9) and his last was a second round demolition of Raimonds Sniedze - who Markham couldn't get rid off. We've all heard the hype about Heffron giving Khan a going over back in the day . We have heard Freddie Roach saying he's an unbelievable talent and Joe Gallagher said he's one of the best talents he's ever worked with. So..... obviously a massive cloud hanging over Heffron is his criminal record etc, but provided he can eventually get a BBBofC license. How far do people think he can go in todays SMW division..
Mark is coming to Scotland next week for a fortnight to spar David Brophy, this will be excellent work for both lads
yeh? you have a good working relationship with his trainer Kev Maree? shame you'se never managed to get Blackledge on board when they worked together..
i freinds with Luke's coach Alex, I can hardly ask him for sparring mate when we're fighting an eliminator for his title now could i
Training with the brother in law and working with him they spar in a unit up the road from the house And I heard first hand about the beating he put on khan
As I said, WHEN Luke was with maree, not Alex. Which was way before he won the commonwealth title! I never mentioned anything about them sparring now did I. Beginning to understand the amount of stick you get on here, considering every time I talk to you ya have some form of attitude.
No mate in a unit up the road from where they work meant to be tidy, just ticking over in between training with Kevin I think
ah right. the set up Maree has down in Gisburn is quite impressive to say there is only a handful of pro's - credit where it's due. He must be fairly connected must Kev too, considering Blackledge had sparred a whose who of quality pro's early in his career.
not very good boxing people like this Bradley price ko 2 tommy Langford 2 who is not a puncher Jamie ball 5 hadillah mohoumadi 1 lenox clarcke 1 won 11 lost 28 only 23 years old not a very good test makes your record look good though
to be fair, find me a fighter with 11 fights where he isn't in with journeymen at this stage, aside from the likes of Loma' that's the way it goes... as for talent as I said - when Roach & Gallagher are praising you, then you must have something.
what do you get from that nothing it is mismatch he only was 11 6 for last fight you need decent journey men to learn somthing
Ok fair one, well hope the sparring goes well.sure it will be beneficial to both fighters - who both seem to have a lot of potential. Hears to hoping Brophy comes through his eliminator and the blackledge fight gets made...has all the ingredients for a *******
