Who knows but two days ago he was humbly gonna conquer the world (after overcoming the tremendous hurdles the NSAC put in front of him) - now a swollen knee and it's over!!!!

I remember after the Floyd/ Manny fight Ward said that fighters always fight with some kind of injury and that Manny should of just sucked it up and stop crying.

The way he said was fighters go into the fight with injuries. If Ward beat Froch with one arm he cant beat a Brand with a brace on his knee?

 

Different in that he couldn't pull out of that fight. I mean that was the biggest fight of his career and if he pulled out Froch would've won the tournement by default. This fight with Brand is just a tuneup and not worth further injuring his knee.

 

Yes thats understandable. The 3 fight deal is done anyway so no hurry.
