hes 100% right, ricky left billy and it wasn't on the great terms that billy tries to make out. billy was stabbed in the back by the very fighter he took from nothing to a reign at world level.

any human being with any respect for themselves would no longer praise and keep feeding the ego of a fighter that left them high and dry. billy can pretend that it was all amicable and blame eddie hearn or alex morrison but in reality ricky was a fully grown man and if he really wanted to stay with billy he would have no matter what they thought or said.

i still think billy pines to get ricky back and it is very humiliating for him to carry on praising a fighter that is shot to pieces and didn't respect you anyway!!

 

I will always wish Ricky well, Ricky uses my gym when he's not in London so to think we're not friends is a mile out, of co****I was gutted he left me but he felt he needed a change well I don't see any change at all but that's my opinion
Alex has told me Eddie wanted Ricky to be trained by Tony and that's what happened , these things happen there not nice but you move on, all my fighters in the gym are undefeated, Brophys on the cusp of a title shot, Lewis Ritson is a class act and could easily fight for the British in a year he's that good, I'm happy with my gym delighted I'm involved with Lock Stock Promotions and really excited with what on the horizon there
