Perhaps not so much a dream match as two Nigerian Nightmares for the price of one !?

Certainly two Juggernaughts with no reverse gear, Probably the best of the Nigerian wave of Heavyweights Going head to head, Assuming Sam is in Top Shape/Condition,can he compete with Rock Hard Ike ? Would Sam Peter-Out ? or would the President get a painful Demotion ?

Ike was equally big, had an equally good or better chin, far better movement, handspeed, conditioning and skill.

Sam hits a bit harder but Ike is far faster with his punches and can put together textbook combibations. He was a physical specimen as far as workrate and stamina is concerned. Sam gets brutally beaten.

It's a shame what happened to Ike. I seriously think he could have gone very far.

I'd say Ike by decision. I think he'd punch inside of Peter's slower, wider shots.

Ike was the better fighter. More compact punches, better jab, better combinations and accuracy, more stamina and a higher work rate. Also if Tua couldn't hurt Ike I seriously doubt Peter could. Ike likely breaks him down and stops him late.

This. Plus Peter is slightly overrated, outside of Maskaev, he kod nobody of note.

Ike by stoppage in a one sided beating. Ike is pretty damn overrated, but he was a helluva lot more talented than any heavyweight scrub we've seen in the last 12 years. Sam Peter was a complete, and utter talentless bum.

Ike was the FAR superior fighter....not close. Peter could punch as could Ike and that's the only area you can compare the two. I think Ike stops Peter in 7 one sided rounds.

Can't argue any of these point Ike could have been something special but even the version we saw would beat Peter.

Peter was a good puncher with some skills, but he's not in Ike's class.
