Yeah.... He has all of the hallmarks of a damaged fighter..... Froch ruined him. I think he can come again if built up again, slowly and properly.... But he hasn't been the same since getting smashed by Froch. He showed just enough against Jack not to write off completely, but yeah I would certainly favor Smith to do a number on him.
Want to see what direction he goes in before calling him finished tbh, if he gets that right he will be fine, but I reckon he will burn out by his early 30s
I honestly honestly believe making super-middleweight is killing him, that and damaged confidence is ruining him. I think its better if he calls it a day
Nowhere near as bad as the procession of hull, fieldings ceiling is fringe world/world in a weak division, coyle will do well to get to European level
SOLD as a 50/50...but total mismatch. ....cone onu can't tell me that you genuinely thought smith fielding was a 50/59...not even 60/40
Thought fielding had a chance, not a great one but a chance, more 70/30. The one in hull was an absolute joke and was more 99/1
Yeah wouldn't be the worst idea. He seems smart enough to make a career working on the business side of things after he calls it day(assuming of course he still has his faculties left) I still think he has enough for one big fight. We'll see. :good
Whats your views on him at light-heavyweight? obviously avoiding Kovalev and Stevenson? I really dont think you can get the cream out of him at 12 stone anymore
Super middleweight division (how i see it) Top 4 are thus as they are champions. Abraham 1 Jack 2 Degale 3 Chudinov 4 Groves 5 Murray 6 Smith 7 Ramirez 8 Dirrell 9 Anthony Dirrell 10 Andre For me Callum Smith should be looking at Murray (if he loses to Abraham) Buglioni, Groves, Nielson, Sturm or Nielson. to make sure he his really world level last night proved very little imo (all though it was impressive) as Rocky is the same as Callum unproven above British/Euro Level easy doing it Vs Fielding Rebrasse but Jack/Groves/Degale/Abraham are all different animals to fielding in terms of all round skill set and power Groves and Abraham. hes an excellent prospect there is no need to rush him straight in to a title fight
Zac Dunn also be a great fight for the IBO title (not a major world title) reckon Eddie could sell the public that Smith Vs other world champs was a unification fight
