    Noooooooo. You're fabricating a qoute.

    He said:

"If I was able to make 160 when I was fighting, I would have fought him."

Which is also a lie because we know he still never would have fought him at 160 even if he could've made weight. Mayweather will NEVER fight GGG. You can bet your house on that.

Exactly. If GGG can't break his ribs then he'll break his arms and shoulders. Did you guys see how often he was on the ropes against PACQUIAO? Now imagine that against a guy who can actually cut off the ring!

Floyd knew he couldn't fight competitively at 160....unless he became Floyd
"Butterbean" Mayweather. He'd be pudgy at 160; would look like a small James Toney.

Nah, but a combination of size and style make this GGGs fight. GGG is a nightmare stylistically for Floyd imo.

GGG fans talking as though his legacy is enhanced by fighting someome who started his career at 135lbs.

Is that how desperate you have become, Golovkin fans?

Tell your boy to step up and REALLY make his mark on the sport.

    :rofl

You can't really believe that, can you?

The guy craves being center of attention. This "retirement" lasts until late 2016, at best.

I'd much rather GGG fight Ward than Floyd as I feel Ward is a 60/40 favorite to beat GGG and GGG is a 70/30 favorite to beat Floyd at 160. It becomes closer to 50/50 if Floyd requires catch weight under 155.

Golovkin's legacy will be enhanced by beating Canelo, if he beats Cotto but nothing helps it more than beating Ward.

You don't "make" a weight that is above you. Anyone can fight at a higher weight class. Example: Even though Golovkin is a middleweight, if he felt he could beat Kovalev, he could weigh in at 165 and fight in the 175 weight class. You "make" weight in the class that you are draining into.

Size aside, assuming in they're in the same weight class, I think it'd be similar to Mayweather-Cotto.

GiGi is a nobody so why would Mayweather even consider fighting this hype.

Ah, that is why Mayweather is talking about fighting him.

Spoken like a true delusional mayweather fan.

GGG vs Floyd would be Floyd's most valuable fight since he barely beat a washed up Oscar. Of course now, Floyd says he would fight him when he knows he's retired. Like a chihuahua barking at a doberman with a fence in the way. Fighting GGG right now, would mark the first time since Castillo Floyd has faced an elite/prime fighter, and that is why this fight holds so much value for Floyd. Not to mention GGG being undefeated and a monster at MW. This fight would be a massive PPV success, fans would eat this right up. But instead Floyd opted to face andre the joke berto to end his career. No more needs to be said.

GGG has the same type of chance every fighter has vs Mayweather and that is simply a punchers chances.

Outside of size GGG literally has nothing to trouble Floyd, too slow of hands to really land, too slow of feet for his footwork to mean anything, he isn't a flat out pressure fighter who's going to throw 100's of punches, and doesn't have the iq to outbox and outfox the vet.

Faster more skilled fighters than GGG haven't been able to land on Floyd, why the hell would you legitimately expect GGG to.
