With Eddie & Smith openly admitting they wont be holding the Lonsdale for long, it brings the question of who will be the lads contesting it.

I seen Leon Mckenzie had won an eliminator a few weeks back (how it was ever sanctioned is beyond me)

The other possibles are Luke Blackledge (current CW champion)

Jamie Cox, Frank Buglioni (though on twitter he seems to think he's above the British level after being in with Chudinov)

Also lee Markham, though his recent form would possibly make it hard to approve him (lost to Smyle & Blackledge and drew with Buglioni in his last 3)

and of course, Rocky Fielding won't be far away.

If Buglioni thinks he's above British title level he needs to give his head a shake.

If Fielding wins a ten rounder again soon I have no issue with Fielding/McKenzie for the British Title.

Really? Fielding fair enough, ex cw champion - served his apprenticeship & has only been beaten by a bone afide competitor... But McKenzie? what has he done to warrant a shot at the British title, (aside from win his 'eliminator' which should never of been an eliminator in the first place..!

If Mckenzie was to get a look in ahead of the likes of current cw champion Blackledge, or as mentioned Buglioni (who I don't believe is above british level, but has achieved more than Mckenzie) then id say there is something seriously wrong !

Leon McKenzie should be nowhere near a British title. Luke Blackledge, Jahmaine Smyle and Tom Doran should be in line. Possibly David Brophy if he gets a decent win in his next fight.

Leon Mckenzie v John "2008 diamond cut" McCallum was the worse Eliminator for a British title I have ever seen.

I only say this as it's pretty easy to make the Fielding/McKenzie fight- Buglioni is with Frank (impossible to make the Fielding without purse bids) and Blackledge has already been knocked out in a round by Fielding.

Blackledge/Buglioni is a decent enough fight but I doubt Frank wants it. Tom Baker should also be in the mix as should Jamie Cox.

I'd like to see Smith drop the title almost immediately so the situation gets sorted quickly.

    Fielding
    Blackledge
    Buglioni
    Brophy
    Mckenzie

All worthy of fighting for vacant

Wouldn't mind seeing Fielding vs Blackledge II, think the first one was an unfair reflection of Blackledge, would expect Fielding to win the rematch but a good fight anyway.

Anyone between buglioni fielding Blackledge Smyth ( english champ ) or brophy. Mckenzie needs another decent win or english shot b4 british title level imo
