On the flip side the Ulster seniors has gone to pot completely in the last few years havent they Fra?
Looking at the entry this year it looks the weakest yet,
This was a championship that used be on par and some years even surpass the Nationals,
its a pity there used to be some great local rivalries (good ones of course)

Its a vital area for spike. He has always been a bit stiff and wooden and slow. Thats why he did so badly against Billy Joe - and the fact that Eubank CAN muster up a bit of speed, accelerate up through the gears etc etc is a big advantage he holds over Spike. So its good they are working on it.

the ulsters has lost its appeal to most boxers up here... as outside of com/wealth games winning them leads nowhere... it would be nice if the ulsters took on some relevance again but that's unlikely to happen..... when was the last time paddy barnes or conlan fought in them.... :good

Eubank is a vey fit and active boxe - a serious athlete for sure. But I cant say he is all that great quality-wise. Honestly I think if Spike doesnt get ovewhelmed by Eubanks admittedly impressive workrate in rrecent fights, (or fall victim to a panicky/biased ref) then I really do rate Spikes chances.
Anyone spike can hit is in trouble -and I really do think he can land on Eubank.

First of all Fa - a good chin is no guarantee of winning. Chris Eubank senior had a great chin yes - but Steve Collins beat him didnt he? See what I mean?
Pro-rata Spike is a harder puncher against junior than Steve was against senior, IMO.

Also there will be 2 chins in that ring - what about Spikes chin? I
t looks very solid to me. He has never been toubled by a punch that Ive seen. Spike may be tough enough to soak up Eubanks over-rated power and come back with his own bombs.....then it will get interesting!

think its going to be a great fight too.... if spike can match jr work rate... he could have a real chance... but its looking like a pts win for jr:good

Yeah but just looking at McComb's Facebook and it sounds like he's finished for 2015?!
