    I definitely would.

He was never stopped in 88 professional fights and fought until he was around 48 years of age.. He was a three division champion with a record of 9-4 in world title fights. Among the men he defeated were: Jose Luis Ramirez, Greg Haugen, Vinny Pazienza, Ray Mancini, Howard Davis Jr, Cornelius Boza Edwards, rafael Limon, and Edwin Rosario.

Jose Luis Ramirez is in the world boxing hall of fame while Edwin Rosario is in the international boxing hall of fame. Camacho beat both when they were right around their primes.

Sure, why not. He was matched well for the most part throughout his career, but did beat Rosario who didn't fall into the "brawler" type mode and he beat him, I suppose. Davis too, I guess, though he'd seen better days.

Actually I had Rosario edging him out in that fight, but that's quibbling.

About the time when Camacho beat Ramirez, and he was training with Jimmy Montoya...Camacho was excellent.

I did not care for his style in the ring or outside of the ring crimes and embarrassments.

Camacho's body of work for his career is good enough for the hall of fame.

I would have loved to see Sal Sanchez fight him.

    Yes

He was better than Mancini, Brian Mitchell, who are already in. He could have done much more post 1987 but he deserves to be in for what he did up until then.

Don King got in so clearly if the candidate was good for the sport is not a criterion, so sure.

I personally thought Rosario beat him, but yeah he should definitely be in, especially considering some that already are. Great fighter in his prime and a tough fight for anyone.

A case can be made that he lost to Rosario and Mancini (who had comeback after a long layoff). He was a very good fighter and deserves to be in the Hall of Fame though.
