Appalling posting from lobotomy yet again.

    Kovalev schooled the grandmaster

Ward is way more likely to win than Hopkins.

Even at 50 years old, BHop takes a better shot than Ward.
You think Kovalev isn't going to land any punches at all in 12 rounds?

Ward could theoretically outbox Kovalev. Didn't see how 50 year old Hopkins would. If Kov had lost against Hopkins I would have been ****ed.

Hey, ESL, that's not what "schooled" means. Coming in above the cruiserweight limit to fight a natural middleweight is what cowards do...and did you see kovalev before the fight doing knuckle pushups on his gloves to make them harder than concrete?...to fight a 50 yo man? hopkins didn't lose to a LHW. he lost to a HW. Next time check the dictionary before you use terms you don't understand like "Schooled"

"schooled" means a fighter utilizes superior technique and boxing IQ to outmaneuver and dominate his opponent. kkkovalev used the fact that he was a freakin HEAVYWEIGHT on fight night, fighting a much smaller, older guy...

See the thing is, the whole time we were wondering: "is this the fight where hopkins AGE becomes too much of a factor?" Everybody was looking at the age difference of about 20 years as a potential liability. It was all about how OLD Hopkins is...

well, what kkkovalev did, was he changed the narrative. When the bell rang, it was no longer a matter of the AGE difference. It was about the SIZE difference...ray mancini himself pointed out the YUGE difference in size between the two. yeah, kkkovalev was SUPPOSEDLY 188 on fight night...very much a CW....but the thing is, i don't know who weighed him, but he looked to be about 20 lbs bigger than hopkins....and hops is really just a mw. Nobody expected WEIGHT and SIZE would be the deciding factors...now hopkins was dealing not with ONE disadvantage, but with TWO! and THAT's the ONLY explanation for kkkovalev winning the fight.

so, if by "schooled" you mean "came in at the HW limit to fight a mw" then yes, he "schooled" hopkins. kkkovalev was no more a LHW than loma was a fw for the grj fight...but that seems to be a typical thing ee fighters do.

fonfara vs ngumbu, loma vs grj, hopkins vs kovalev....it's one thing to post unofficial "fight night" weights and i'm not a conspiracy theorist, but all you gotta do is look at them in the ring.

loma was CLEARLY much bigger than grj...even max kellerman mentioned the size difference. no announcer would make note of that unless it was significant. loma looked to have about 10 lbs on grj.

hopkins looked small, frail even, compared to kovalev...and hopkins is a finely tuned athlete. but kovalev was MASSIVE. ray mancini was shocked at the size difference. you can say the unofficial weights saiid this or that...i've seen heavyweights in the ring...kovalev looked bigger than either adamek or cunnigham when they were campaigninig at hw.

fonfara was HUGE compared to ngumbu...i mean, it was so obvious...these ee guys have their own racket going on. pretend to be a mw like ggg and come in at 175 on fightnight!...and claim that he wants to fight floyd but ward is "too big."

it's all part of the big ee scam being perpetrated on boxing...those guys all suck. they fight weak comp and they're boring as schit. they have hundreds of amateur fights and all kinds of ridiculous advantages over american fighters, but they STILL need a 20 lb advantage to beat a 50 year old man...

C'mon man. If you're gonna be a racially motivated fan, at least be man enough to admit the defeat.
