The Sad part is that many have forgotten the nice run Martinez had at Middleweight

What were Macklin's, Barker's and Murray's best wins ? Golovkin at least had a belt.

Macklin and Murray most thought had beaten Sturm and on name value it was worth a hell of a lot more than getting a belt off of some guy from Kazakhstan who was coming off of a KO win over Makoto Fuchigami  Come on be reasonable.

And Barker was the European Champion a belt worth as much as the one GGG had.

Fought Proksa as late replacement when Pirog got injured.
Wouldn't have made a difference if GGG had beat Pirog.
Sergio didn't want any part of Golovkin

He knew his knees were f*cked in that Cotto fight.
Wore extra long trunks to cover up those Forrest Gump leg braces.
He traded that MW title for money. Good for him.
Murray and Macklin's best "wins" were getting jobbed vs Felix Sturm...another fighter who didn't want any part of GGG.
Sturm was going to have to finally fight GGG but offered Daniel Geale more money to fight in Germany and back out of the Pirog fight in 2012.
Pirog vs Geale was the original fight that was supposed to be on HBO before all that f*ckery.

He should because he said he could for 1. For 2, it's the biggest fight of his career w/ or w/o a belt involved. They will be rich cowards for sure. While GGG is drawing 97k at the box office, Canelo will be trying to break the record he set with Floyd of 2 mil. It's simple math. He really should be thinking about that.

Hopkins met Winky Wright and De La hoya at C/Ws. He moved up fought and host of good/great fighters. Won most of the time. He was looking to be great (and he is) and to maximize his earnings. Is this impossible for GGG? He said he would go up for Chavez and Froch. But, not Ward of course. Is it about business or greatness? A prime Hopkins would have moved up to meet Ward. That is the difference.

Beat Hopkins record? [emoji57] That's only the beginning of chasing Hopkin's legacy. [emoji2] He will never catch Hopkins' entire body of work.

Beat Floyd's record? [emoji57] You must remember Floyd remained undefeated for 19 years across 5 divisions and a 2-3 year hiatus from boxing. GGG ain't catching Floyd. His 49-0 will be < Floyd's 49-0. [emoji2]

I'm not saying all those fighters didn't duck GGG, but at least Sergio being a crippled fighter at the end of his career had a legitimate reason to duck him. GGG wasn't a known name at the time, so the audience would be none the wiser. But I fully believe had Sergio had full mobility and hadn't been a shell of himself he would have fought GGG or Proksa had he won.

Barker's and GGG's belts both meant absolutely nothing, I don't give a damn what letters were attached to them. They were both paper champions, but a Brit fighting on US TV at the time was more desirable for ratings than some unknown Kazakh.

Barker IIRC challenged him on twitter so they fought and he was an undefeated fighter at the time.

By the way, Sergio didn't want any part of Pirog either. He was pretending to not know who Pirog even was.

You can't say that with Martinez having faced Barker. Barker had beaten no notable names, and wasn't even ranked. DiBella had to pull some strings to get Barker ranged in the top 15 to make the fight.

A Brit fighting Martinez as opposed to a Russian, or Kazakh would have made no ****ing difference in the ratings, or Martinez's pay for the fight. Barker wasn't ****. He had beaten nobody. Nobody knew who he was. DiBella had to pull strings to get him rated in the top 15 so that he could fight Martinez. Make no mistake about it, it was nothing but a cherry pic, as was Dzinziruk, Macklin etc. For some reason Martinez gets a pass for lackluster opposition in a weak middleweight era, yet Golovkin gets trashed. They should both get trashed for their weak opposition. At least Golovkin tries to fight the best opponents. Martinez avoided the best opponents.

What did GGG do at any point to make him a better opponent than any of the fighters you just named, I don't care what promoter quote you have if the fighters want it, it can happen and straight out of Martinez mouth he called out GGG.

Not everybody hides behind promoters, I'm sure being a GGG fan you no nothing about that. You guys are content with claiming everyone is ducking while doing nothing.

Here's a huge reason why GGG will never touch Martinez's jock, when Marvalla couldn't get fight's at 154 he moved up and took on guys people actually considered elite in a new division and became a long running dominate Champ.
What the hell is GGG doing but fighting scrubs who've never beaten top fighters.

I don't see how y'all still buy into this foolishness, how is it anyone who GGGs names is ducking, but if a fighter calls out GGG there is no owness on his side to try an make a fight.

Martinez was P4P rated by beating top fighters and dominating, GGG is rated due to hype.

frankly it is embarrassing that Golovkin fans have nothing great to point to showing there fighters worth, all they can do is try to down grade guys who've actually done something.

There was a video interview where Martinez straight up ducked Pirog when asked by the interviewer.

GGG was not a real Champion didn't become one til 2013 and that is only because Strum dropped the belt, GGG didn't win a title in the ring til this year vs a guy who's never even beaten a World Class fighter.

Let this man actually do something before y'all just D!ck ride him.
