Commentators are talking of him fighting for the WBA belt soon

But how would he get on against the British Champion or a defeated British challenger?

    2nd in either bout?

If he can knuckle down, keep his hands healthy, stop being a div outside of the ring and not lose his composure inside of the ring then the lad can go far.

His talent has never been in doubt for me, just his temperament, IQ and dodgy hands.

He needs to go more rounds before a real step up. A solid, tough domestic level gatekeeper to see how he holds up physically and mentally.

is it just me or is he major beginning to believe his own hype recently though??

Yeah there is no denying he has won a couple of fights recently in the first round, but let's be honest...the standard of opposition is hardly taxing!

he recently stated he knocks out Fielding early after watching Smith do the same. Now by no means am I suggesting Smith is the finished article but, let's be honest - he managed to beat AND drop Rebrasse (who Groves couldn't sink) and obliterated Fielding, who has Cox fought who is recognised as a decent fighter, he's not even fought a relaitive level fighter tbh...

Fact is Smith & Fielding are both proven hard hitters, against decent level fighters with good chins... Cox is not!

    Smith destroys him.

    Fielding beats him too.

No bias at all. No one can tell me he beats Smith and I am not a fan of Rocky even if he is from my city but he still beats Cox. Best person he has fought is Sai and he shouldn't of won for all them low blows etc.

All this ****e talk lately; he wouldn't accept a fight with either Smith or Fielding now.

Jamie Cox must be the most overrated fighter in the country ****** mentioning him in the same sentence as Callum Smith shows how deluded he really is

Cox beats Fielding imo wouldnt beat Callum Smith though.

To be honest I rate Cox highly but he has had three one round comeback wins againts nobodies and is somehow getting a world title shot which is a bit odd to be honest.

The manor in which Jamie Cox beat Obodai Sai leaves a very bad taste in the mouth...

ive not wanted to watch him box since!

    I actually agree with u!
