what next for ricky burns?

what happened with ricky and billy was nothing short of a miracle and imo neither will ever reach the heights again that they shared together. sometimes it happens like that in sport but imo them 2 will prove to be 1 hit wonders at world level, and i don't mean the amount of title fights they had together but just that ricky will never reach those heights again and billy won't coach at that level again.

 

if you read it properly i mentioned that it was not about the amount of world title fights together but the fact that the both of you clicked together and had an amazing run.

it is a run that i personally don't think you will ever achieve again, I'm not saying that you won't have champions again but if you look back at the amount of world champions scotland have produced then the law of averages says you won't have another run like that, especially a 10 fight run.

why are you so quick to jump down everyones throats? maybe you should attend classes to help you with reading things correctly and you might get less **** on here.

i hope you prove me wrong and have multiple champions and at all levels. personally i enjoy watching the professional sport but would never be a part of it. there is too much money grabbers and dishonest people imo and i would be a hypocrite to be involved with it.

john mccarron could well be the best trainer in the east but he has quite a bit to prove at both amateur and professional levels to beat terry mccormack but he is a very nice guy and i wish him the best with lewis paulen because i really rate him.

 

sometime you speak well on here then at other times you come across as an egomaniac. what has my achievements got to do with my opinion.

i have seen you slate alex arthur in the past and say he wasn't a real world champion when defending ricky but now you worked with him and he became world champion. lol

i have spoke to peter at length at amateur shows and your version of events with regards to your role at his gym when training scott differs greatly to what he says. if you were that influential and did so much then why doesn't he speak to you anymore? if it was mutual then you 2 would still be friends? his words were you were the bag carrier and washed scotts gum shield . lol

on ricky i give you all the credit in the world and i think you should be happy that you shared that time with him. i hope you prove me wrong and have 10 more world champions but if me giving you an honest opinion is so hurtful to you then you need to chill out. lol

 

im also sure that john mccarron doesn't speak that highly of you either and that is a reason that he no longer helps in your gym? maybe its just your personality that rubs people up the wrong way. lol or your eating habits? dipping chips in your mcflurry must be enough to put anyone off eating alongside you?!! lol

 

oh my god i won't sleep tonight because one of billys mates comes on and tries to get a rise out of me! lol get a grip mate its a boxing forum for opinions and am i the only person on here that doesn't use their real name?? let me think about this for a while.............. no. the internet is a great place where we can share information, have opinions and say it all without the need to show our identities.

not knowing my identity doesn't take away the facts, john mccarron doesn't speak highly of billy, neither does peter and coming to think about it i can't recall a coach i do know that doesn't say he is a 2 faced liar. but i don't know him personally and can only say that maybe he is a great person but the way he comes across here at times makes me think he has a big ego and i wouldn't want to get to know him anyway.
