Margarito said Cotto said it in an interview the burden f proof is on him to prove it, not me. But thus far no one has challenged him on it.
Cotto never said that. He said after the fight his punches werent the same. Margacheato lying as usual.
License inspector Mike Bray was called to testify and to reiterate what was found on the hand wrapswhich he said looked moist and dirty looking. ....... I immediately retrieved it. I believe it was an illegal padit needed to be confiscated. I observed what appeared to be a bloodstain. It was not new and their was a white substance smeared across the knuckles. It was hard to the touchlike Plaster of Paris.- Mike Bray, License Inspector CSAC inspector David Pereda, who was in the room, later testified, Naazim opened the gauze and pulled something out of it. He showed us what appeared to be an old gauze which had been used before and hardened from perhaps being sweaty and wet many times. Inspector Guevara testified, It [the knuckle pad] was a clean new bandage. But within it, in the inner layers of it, was another bandage wrap. It was not as white as a new bandage wrap would be. It was used and it looked almost like it was sweat soaked and thats what caused it to have the discoloration. It was harder in certain areas than it should be for pure gauze. It was definitely firm and hard. I believe there was a little bit of, it looked like old blood, on it. No doubt then, no doubt now. The wraps I found had the knuckle pad altered in some form. They were hard. I didnt think twice when I pulled them out as illegal. - Dean Lohuis, Chief Inspector ...........Does that sound like he only had on Dove for Men?
....just look at Margarita's mug after the 1st and 2nd fight...!!! He got pasted...no matter what he says and regardless of his punch resistent rock filled head...!!! Margarita's name has always been Puta...! That's why his wife left his sorry ass!!!
Ok so this small little pad that's was underneath fresh gauze, would that really make such a difference? There still padding in the glove. Plus its closer to Margaritos knuckles and if it was rock hard it would hurt his hands. It was just a harmless knuckle pad like they use in the gym. Was it legal? Maybe not. Was it deadly? No! Cotto just needs to accept his loss fair and square.
He did. He said it to Max Kellerman during the post fight interview in the ring in broken English. Then he changed his story a little when he got to the post fight presser podium.
Alright Tim Roth. I'll tell you he's lying. Why? Because he would have to be the biggest idiot in the world to not know his gloves were being loaded and of course he was doing it throughout his career. Faded Mosley wasn't seen as a really threat to Tony so it would have made no sense to start doing it just before that fight and his ability to KO opposition evaporated after he was caught. I don't even particularly hate the dude for it, he was indeed teak tough and fought his way out of poverty. Most of the people condemning him will never be able to comprehend what that's like. That doesn't make it any less unfair on his opponents or any less of a **** move. Let's not try and rewrite history. Tony was and forever will be a culpable cheat.
