Good point about Frampton's age and don't actually disagree. You could put it down to a bad day at the office and I genuinely hope that he is better against Quigg as it could be a cracking fight.

It should be a good fight. On the face of it it's a come forward fighter versus a back foot fighter who counter punchers, but both fighters have more to them than those basic distinctions.

Also, whilst i am picking Carl to win, it is not a forgone conclusion. I rate Quigg and i don't think that Frampton is that much better than him that he wins easily.

It will be a competitive fight.

Travelling around the states (probably obliged to do it by Haymon) meant Team Frampton were outnof their normal environment/routine. This caused Carl to botch weight-making and then he had no sauna to take off the last few pounds in Texas. So he had to exercise them off, which took a lot out of him in the last day or two before the fight. This IMO is a perfectly straightforward case of a simple error - nothing to get excited about at all.
Plus of course Gonzalez turned out to be much better than expected.

Normal service will be resumed for Quigg though - you can be sure!

Frampton will annihilate Quigg and the Northern Irish will take over the MEN. Foes Quigg even have a core support base bar his Mum and Dad?

Looking forward to seeing what folk on here say once this transpires. Quigg?

Lets look at the facts. Both guys biggest win is Martinez.

Quigg dismantled him a lot quicker. People will say Martinez wasn't the same after Frampton dealt with him. Martinez lost previously to Munroe, the guy that Quigg stopped. It's all swings and roundabouts. So you have to look at their last fight to have a realistic view. Frampton got knocked down twice and went on to dominate the fight. Whereas, Quigg would have stopped that guy...

He has an obsessive personality. I remember the days when he used to hang on the coat tails of Sturm and Macklin... until Golovkin became who he is today. I don't think Andy Lee winning a legitmate version of a world title has helped his mental health either, after he was adamant Macklin was better and would definitely win a world title first.

We'll see who's laughing after the fight. He who laughs last laughs loudest.
