Lara Looks Like He's Headed up North, Will GGG Duck Him?

    Lara looks to be moving up to the Middleweight division after the Zaveck fight. There were Reports early this year that Lara wanted a GGG fight, And GGG had no interest in fighting him because he brought no money to the table. GGG then chose to fight the Boxcino champ Willie Monroe, because he Brought the Bank with him i guess.:think Anyways will GGG be forced to fight Lara sooner rather then later, or will he duck Lara like the plague? If no Canelo fight, I'd love to see him fight Lara, As it would be the toughest fight he's ever had.

    I heard quite an opposite a couple weeks ago (right after the Lemieux fight): Lara changed his mind about moving to 160 and/or fighting Golovkin, as he has good options at 154.

    Anyway, if he decides to move, he needs to first fight Quillin/Jackobs winner or fight for the vacant belt if Quillin vacates and moves up. Then GGG Team will probably show interest. Fighting a boring blown up JMW who hasn't beaten anybody decent at MW is not in their plans.

    Different promoters and networks, so if Golovkin doesn't fight him it isn't a duck.

    Then again, that's consistency from me and I don't expect that from others. Hypocrites will rise from the sewers and treetops.

    lara needs to publicly tell ggg to drop k2 and then they can fight...ala floyd telling pac to drop bob...lol.....i mean....if ggg actually did it would be better for his career

    I assmue that's in reference to Kovalev/Stevenson....Golovkin never signed to fight Lara then pulled out and changed "managers" and networks therefore your perspective is invalid.

    You are an idiot. That has nothing to do with styles, except HBO is not anxious to televize Lara due to his running.

    I think if GGG fought Lara on PPV It would break 150k PPV buys. It's definately a intriguing fight GGG and HBO should consider.

    Lara doesn't fill seats any better than American Monroe, but will he agree to fight GGG for the same purse Monroe did ? Will he agree to fight on HBO ?
