    Fair enough, I don't watch women's sports, however I did hear from someone that Holm ducked Breakhus her entire career

    Either way, my point remains, Ronda was crazy hyped for someone dominating such a shallow sport, and the talks of her beating Mayweather, GGG, and even Mike Tyson are silly

    Yes, the girl was overrated - but don't sell Holm short here. She just went into a championship match in a sport that she transitioned into at the age of 29 approaching the end of her storied career in boxing, where she is 1st ballot HOF with a truly amazing resume, and came in tonight with a fairly light record (though Finney and Pennington are solid wins for being only 9-0) and she just destroyed the hyped up champ who is considered female p4p #1 and has become a face of the sport. DESTROYED her, winning every minute, and knocking her spark out, becoming champion in a new sport at the age of 34. :clap:

    Holm was a 2-division world champion already when Braekhus debuted.

    Maybe near the end of her career there was some clamoring for Holm vs. Braekhus, yes, but I wouldn't call it a duck considering that Holm was spreading her focus pretty thin in the last few years she boxed and was already dabbling in kickboxing and MMA.

    ya looks like even Mayweather couldve knocked her out. What an over rated fighter. Congrats Holly I bought into the hype. I didn't think she could do it.

    I told you the mark of a champion isn't dominating inferior comp. It's when you are hit back over and over and you find a way to win.

    GG will be under fire one day just like Rousey was and we will see if he can survive the pressure.
