You turn your body weight with the right hip if you're throwing an orthodox left hook

How do your toes- such small appendages they be affect Your punching power? toes should be used like claws! Bad footwork causes bad spine angle and reverse weight-shifts.

Its the ***** of your feet, not the toes where the drive comes from, very little contact there. Heel about 15 to 25 % lift, heel on the floor, youre not going anywhere, its your bio mechanical brake.

Just so we can clarify, how much do you guys mean when you say "heel off of the floor"?

Throw a hook with your left hook flat footed. Then throw one where you pivot thru the shot. How is this even hard?

Just before throwing the hook elevate both heels then drop!

The power comes the punch behind the the hips which travels.

You guys over complicate this so much. If you can't understand a simple left hook then you have no business trying to say anything about boxing and should never visit this forum.

Dago if you've got no power as a puncher you're useless, therefore it's best to let the hips drive the punch.

I assume you're joking breh? One of floyds most effective punches is his check left hook. Definitely not known as s power puncher. Left hook is one of the most effective punches in boxing friend.

Floyd is a natural puncher who can ko with an open glove! What about those that don't possess natural power?
