This is proof, as I've said before, the odds don't mean ****. Everyone wants to diss boxers for taking fights they're favored to win; Rousey was favored 33-4 and got her ass beat. Odds don't mean ****.

Just goes to show that even feather fisted boxers are lethal if you try and box them with mma gloves on.

Assuming that there's no lasting physical damage there's nothing wrong with being in awe and taking some measure of joy in watching a top fighter outclass another top fighter.

Seriously, watching Holm control the distance and react with straight lefts and then use her footwork to move out of the danger zone and repeat was pretty good to watch.

Plus, the way Holm did it. Holm kept her feet so close together which is (according to a mma coach I know) not really a good idea -- because you can't lower your center of gravity to sprawl as quickly and it's easier for your opponent to control your hips.

Well even a featherfister boxer using boxing gloves will daze and even put you down if you eat power punch after punch cleanly, right on the button. Rousey just couldnt seem to get enough of that southpaw left straight

Rousey always had problems with the straight right....she was not prepared for the straight lefts she ate all night then finished off with
the kick to the back of the ear...!!!

48 Year old Ray Mercer knocking out one of their former champions still is my favorite moment ever. Literally first punch he throws drops the guy like a sack of rocks
