The Jab is key tomorrow night if Murray is to pull it off

I think that had more to do with the standard of opponent, rather than typical Murray style.

Murray isn't heavy handed, but id guess he's hitting harder at 168, and will probably have more in the tank during the later rounds.

End of the day, whether theres any corruption or not, i'd be gobsmacked if Murray managed to get the nod, even if he won 7 or 8 rounds..

Sky Sports, they're cutting to it during the Manchester card, before going back to Manchester for Crolla/Perez.

 

Cheers pal. Was hoping it was live as last time they showed the braehmer fight afterwards. I'm looking forward to this one more than any this weekend.

 

He didn't snap it out often enough for me, he had a rattle and it was a close fight, I had AA edging it simply because Murray let him off at times.

It was one of those fights that was frustrating to watch because you just knew over in Germany Murray needed to do more to be sure and he didn't and it wasn't because AA was doing anything special, Murray just didn't really go for it in my opinion and paid the price.

 

Shows he isn't quite good enough. But one thing is for sure, he needs to get a new trainer.

 

Well Mr T, I don't think he'll get another world title shot any time soon. That was the 4th and the 2nd this year.

I think a fight with Groves is an option, a real last chance saloon type fight for both.

If not then maybe a couple of little wins and try and then get back in the world title mix by fighting some sort of eliminator.

Murray might be an option if Callum Smith has to wait for a title fight.

 

Either tactics were poor or execution of them was poor. Early in fight when Murray was doubling and trebling up with jabs he was making it easy, but too often he was throwing single shots. Your original point that the Jab would be key was spot on, and that is why he lost.
